Product introduction:
The core characteristic of sodium isoamyl xanthate is its extremely strong capture ability. Compared with ethyl and butyl xanthate, its carbon chain is longer and the hydrophobic group has a more significant effect, which can form a more solid hydrophobic film on the mineral surface. The effective content of industrial grade products in this product is usually 80% to 90%, while granulation grade products have better stability due to reduced specific surface area. It should be noted that this agent has strong collection power but relatively weak selectivity. In practical processes, it is usually used in conjunction with inhibitors to achieve effective separation of target minerals and gangue.
Product uses:
Sodium isoamyl xanthate is mainly used for preferential flotation and mixed flotation operations of non-ferrous metal sulfide ores, and is an effective collector for copper nickel sulfide ores and pyrite containing ores. In the copper nickel mixed flotation process, this reagent can produce good collection effects on target minerals such as chalcopyrite and nickel pyrite within a wide pH range, significantly improving the concentrate grade and metal recovery rate. For gold bearing pyrite, sodium isoamyl xanthate also exhibits excellent capture performance, which helps to improve the comprehensive recovery rate of associated gold.
Product advantage:
Sodium isoamyl xanthate has good adaptability to various complex ores. It is a good collector for flotation oxidized sulfide ores or copper lead oxide ores treated with sodium sulfide and sodium hydrosulfide. Meanwhile, the flotation of copper nickel sulfide ore and pyrite containing ore can also achieve ideal separation effects. This wide applicability makes it an important drug choice for processing complex polymetallic ores.
